And finally, it is that time of year, when everyone goes crazy and poor while Christmas shopping. We all think about great things we could buy for someone special, we try to figure out the best ways to get all that done while living the daily routines and sometimes might even forget about ourselves. I got asked a couple of times this wonderful question "what would you like to get for Christmas". Suddenly I am taken by excitement and then a few seconds later a realisation hits me - I have no clue. So I took some time, I sat down and tried to think of things I would love to get for Christmas. Some of you might find this useful as a source of Christmas gift ideas, and some may not. However, here we go!
To begin this exciting Santa's list, I should probably mention that these days I am on the wave of femininity and am all about that lace, feathers, fur and fringing. You would think that while researching into all these things at university I would get fed up of them, but I am still loving all those subtle and overly feminine details when regards my own appearance!

A couple of days ago I got slightly overexcited when I realised that Adele was realising her new album next month. And then it happened. Here came the countless hours of listening to her new single Hello... For those who don't know me too well, I can reveal a fact about myself - I do get obsessed. I discover a song/an album that I deeply fall in love with (I suppose it's like falling in love with a guy but does not as painful when a fling finishes) and I dive into it as far as the deep end goes, I listen and listen and listen to it, I play it on repeat, I come back to it after every random song that plays on shuffle in my over 500 songs Spotify collection. I find motivation and a need to do something useful, to be productive and stop procrastinating and I genuinely wish I found songs like that more often than I do. And it does not have to have a beat or a secret meaning but it must have something that would make my heart beat faster, something that would summon the formation of goosebumps. And then it just clicks.

I get this feeling of being whole again, of being able to do it all and not freak out  because of all the pressure and suspense. At this particular moment I am finding myself really terrified of the future, I have no clue what to do, where to go and am petrified of being all alone in a new place all over again... And music is the only thing that keeps me sane (kind of). Being an adult is amazing but it can get so hard at times. All the questions you get asked you don't have answers to, all the ideas or in some cases the lack of them, all the jobs you do, when you work almost every day and are still scrambling for money and there is no one to hold you when you need to be held, then out of a sudden you start thinking about things that you have lost, people you may have loved more than they loved you back and you still do, about the good moments you can never get back, about the bad ones, which hurt you so deeply and it can get too much. So then you just dance to your greatest tunes and clean a bath or two. Well, at least that is how I deal with my life most of those days...

I feel like Adele's Hello reaches so close to my heart... She sings about loss and regret and even though almost everyone has written a song about these life shadows, the way she put it all together can only be called a masterpiece. Not everyone can channel their emotions for their creative process - we all try, some of us fail, and some succeed. Some people and their emotions are not meant to work well together to create something meaningful just like some people may not be meant to be together(if you believe in these things). But Adele and has been pushed to an amazing songwriter by all the things she had been through. And I can only admire and turn the volume up!

And now to the most exciting part: PRESENTS! Just like I have already mentioned, this year was a good year...! A few balloons and an amazing orchid were involved!

 As autumn is officially here, the old red jeggings are out of the depths of my wardrobe for an intense splash of colour. I just feel like you have to bring some colour into your outfit at this time of the year.  That edge I am standing on sometimes is a incredibly thin line and I can very easily fall into the not so little black dress deep end. So you just have to mix it up a little bit!
Oh and the bag story... Yes, I did get another bag. I went onto this black high waisted jeans hunt and ended up not finding a pair that would satisfy my expectations or simply not being able to find the right size. Tall people do struggle, believe me. Then I decided to get a new pair of shoes with a result being an unsatisfactory. So I ended up going through piles and piles of handbags in TK MAXX and spoiling myself with this green Fiorelli beauty. And the most ironic thing is - I don't even like green. However, I fell in love with this handbag in an instant and just could not say no to its call.
And of course, it would not be me without some lace... I am quite predictable, to be honest with you!

Remember those days, when you open your exploding wardrobe and think "I have nothing to wear"? You try so many different variations that afterwards the only thoughts in your head are the ones discouraging you to even leave the house and the whole getting ready process turns into a workout of jumping in and out of jeans and buttoning shirts up in a speed of light... Yeah, I've been there, done that... that just happens too often... We could call it girl problems or first world problems as these are such superficial aspects, but not finding the right outfits can really ruin your day (saying from my personal opinion) and no one wants to appear grumpy in public. So, I had one of those days, just yesterday. At the end of the I ended up buying a new piece of clothing as I felt like it just had to be done to make it all better. Shopping is a therapy, I have said this before and am strongly all the way in into this idea - I mean my bank account hates these days, but my inner diva ravishes in these shopping sprees!

So, this lookbook is a result of a small 'nothing to wear' crisis when I ended up in Zara looking for a new shirt. I am in love with those stripes! And the material is absolutely amazing!
