PreHoliday Shopping Spree

00:58

Every girl has experienced the need of new items in the countless collection of clothes, beauty products, jewellery and interior details. So have I. Too many times to count... The moment you open your wardrobe, look at it and think "I have nothing to wear!" even though it is impossible to find an empty hanger to put the new cute dress on.

So, having in mind that the holiday is just an arms reach away, I just had to spoil myself a little bit. I convinced myself that there are thing that I necessarily need, even made a list of items I was going to purchase but the sales season is on, so is the summer shopping spree. As a result, the list was forgotten and the bank card got a painful stab in the back. On the other hand, any time I feel down, shopping is a therapy for me. I always experience a lot of mixed feelings afterwards, as I feel guilty for spending all that money but at the same time feel such a joy of having all these new pretty, shiny things and cannot wait till the moment I have an occasion to take them out for a walk.

This time I had a goal - getting some summery clothes as I am expecting to see some sunshine while being away. Also, things like a suitcase as this whole studying abroad situation does not reflect very well on my old and exhausted travelling friend and a backpack of some sort to make my life easier on a 9 hours journey through different airports and those connecting flights. And that is exactly what I did. So, I am sharing my purchases here!

1. Eau Thermale Avene - Thermal Spring Water -> a recommendation of a few friends of mine. definitely no regret here about buying this as I am loving it so far.

2. Vineyard Peach Body Mist by Body Shop - the smell is incredible and really summery. And you've just got to love the deals during summer time!

3. Early-Harvest Raspberry Shower Gel - I am not sure whether I have mentioned this before but I am the biggest fan of raspberries - the smell, the taste, the colour...

4. Body Butter by Body Shop - Raspberry, Peach & Brazil Nut

5. Honey Bronze Highlighting Dome by Body Shop in shade 02 Pink

6. Necklace by H&M with an adjustable tie, which I fin incredibly handy.

7. Heeled Sandals by Clarks with silver detailing on the edge of the sole and heel - as I really got into this whole summer mode even though I have not seen that much of it and I have always been in love with white and light tones when speaking about shoes.

8. Shorts by H&M    - a very playful a colourful pair of shorts. I am usually staying away from overly patterned garments but this pair of shorts seemed a great solution for a sunny day to go along with a light top, for example.

9. Bikini by H&M - I am crazy about blue colour, it dominates in all of my uni work and it is till taking over my wardrobe collection, so I could not say no this lovely set.

10. Backpack by Zara MAN - yes, I did get a backpack from Zara Man's section and I am in love with it. I feel like it is really difficult to find a backpack for women as the majority that I came across were not my style at all so I ended up sneaking into men's sections every time and when I saw this I just knew it would be a great companion on my journeys.

11. Jumpsuit by New Look - again, beautiful, navy blue shade, with a tie around the waist and pockets on the sides. And a sneak peak to how it actually looks on me!

A hint: a lookbook coming up soon!
