THE PEONIES.

23:21

Or The Mysterious Paths of Naming Things. I always struggle when I have to name something. Name is a vital ingredient of everything – either it is an article, a book, a design piece or collection or even a pet. The name will stick around for a long time, it may attract someone, cause interest and intrigue. So when I came to a decision to finally start blogging of some kind, I started thinking about naming it. Obviously, I had all kind of random ideas and thoughts spinning in that head of mine, and the conclusion came to be quite unexpected… I always find a topic of the feminine image interesting; I looked into it while working on my course works at the art school and I have this idea in my mind of working on this from an interesting for perspective and hopefully come up with a final fashion collection for my graduation. But about that I will speak in a near future. So, while thinking about the feminine image, I thought of women and flowers. Which of us does not love flowers? Let’s be fair, we all do! Personally, I believe that I am quite feminine – not the ‘I am delicate flower and I would love a big rock and a branded bag’ kind but that kind where a guy needs to make a move. And what would be a better move than giving a girl flowers? Even one thin bloom would make a difference here! In the past couple of months I became slightly obsessed with my bedroom’s interior; I have been buying cushions, candles and pretty mirrors and trying to make my bedroom in my most favourite space in the world. While being on this spending money on things wave I came across a DW Home candle.  This has been my best purchase so far! I am going to be honest with you – I don’t think I will ever be able to find anything like this. It is a richly scented candle called Peony Petals. The smell is so subtle and so lovely that I just decided to keep peonies in the centre of attention here. And so after thinking for a very long time and debating different variations with myself I ended up with Peonies Exposed. At the beginning it seemed weird but now, when I think of it, I am genuinely in love with those exposed peonies!
