New In.
16:52
So this month, due to upcoming travel expenses and the
beginning of the birthday season, I gave myself a mission to stay away from
buying clothes. A difficult task, I know... However, that does not stop me from
purchasing other, not that clothing related items. I will have to admit, that
buying colourful and overly cute bunny patterned leggings for a 4 year old does
not help an absolute clothes lover to keep away from stepping into the wonders
of Zara once in a while. So yes, I found a loop pole in this whole ‘don’t go
and spend money on pretty things’ situation.
Time to introduce my new beauties!
Firstly, as mentioned in
my previous post, I have a bit of an interior details obsession, which is
evolving ever so slightly and becoming bigger and fussier with every day. As a
result, while looking for another birthday present and hunting for lovely small
thing to brighten up someone else’s day I came across this amazing Moroccan
Spice candle by Northern Lights. It is not only that it looks amazing it also
smells incredibly exotically. The smell is not as strong as I had expected
before lighting it up, it is pretty subtle and very different from my favourite
peonies candle, but it is seriously great! And of course, as usually this
discovery was made in Tk Maxx, my favourite destination for random interior
items. I have done some research into the company and I am quite amazed by the
variety of candles that they produce. Definitely coming back to that in a near
future.
During the same visit I found these lovely porcelain jugs
that became part of my shelf and are not home for my lipsticks collection. (I
feel like there is my bedroom interior post coming up soon!)
Jewellery:
A fact about me – I
am a huge Pandora lover! But, being a poor student with a full-time job that is
not related to the things I want to do with my life in any possible way, there
is no way I can afford Pandora on a daily basis, so it has to be left for
special occasions only. However, jewellery is a massive part of me. I intend to
play it safe and keep everything subtle, so recently, I got a pair of earrings (H&M)
and a set of bracelets (New Look). The earrings are made of glass and they are
quite blue which was a total deal breaker for me! Not only on sale, but also
blue! What else would ask for? The bracelets, on the other hand are in a
totally different colour palette, but it is not okay to live your life
surrounded by one colour… the set is great, very light and pretty rattling!
And finally, the drumroll please! It is the moment of truth
– the mission failed. It was not a total failure, however, as I only purchased
a top and pyjama bottoms and I am in love with them both to bits right now! The
top is so me: white with black lace at the front and sides. Obviously Zara is
like my second home…
Pyjama Bottoms – cotton, cuffed leg, very light and
comfortable with pockets (Primark is a supplier of great pyjamas!)
That is all for now!
