New Beginnings.
19:25Life changes all the time, we evolve, achieve set goals, make important decisions. The changes are usually difficult, both physically and emotionally and it takes time to get used to them.
I am sitting in the same boat. Everything has changed. 4 years is a relatively long time when you think about it. Especially when you move to a totally new place while being a scared and hopeful 17 year old. However, 4 years have passed, a massive load of things has happened, endless unforgettable experiences and great adventures with wonderful people; Aberdeen was a very important piece of cake called my life and finally after nearly 4 years I packed a few too many boxes, zipped shut the suitcases and left. I have been saying how I was going to get the peace of paper saying BA, have the drop the mic moment and walk away and even though it wasn't going exactly according to the plan (things usually don't when you have one), it happened and it was't easy. If you have ever had to move after staying in the same household for at least a couple of years, you will understand the struggle, if not - be strong, the day will come when you will have the duct tape in hand and sweat drops on the forehead.
Moving is a big step, especially moving in with someone special but now I would not want to have it otherwise. We all know that life happens, we meet people, we get hurt - nothing comes easy, especially when you are trying your hardest. Big life changes are a massive bite you have to swallow, but you do it and you feel happy about it. And when you are going through something like changing everything in your life... You need to find new habits, meet people and create friendships because you left your friends behind and the distance creates obstacles; you need to find your new coffee place ( a very important factor for me)!!! New flat, new job, new people, new daily routines and no I am a poor student excuse because you are a grown up and yes, you are poor, but you need to get that party started!
So, after more than half a year, I am sitting her on my new, not disgustingly red and green sofa anymore and writing the first post from my new life, the beginning of something beautiful let's hope. All the Edinburgh adventures, here I come!
It has been ages but I am back!
